BORA Dishclean and dry in ten minutes
BORA Dish is a compact professional dishwasher for the home. With its xSpeed programme, it cleans and dries dishes in 10 minutes. At HYVE, I led the project for BORA for three years, from the first ideas to the complete industrial design.

The brief
Conventional dishwashers run for hours, so dirty dishes pile up on the worktop and the kitchen never quite feels finished. BORA wanted cooking, eating and cleaning to follow one another without a break.
BORA brought in HYVE for the first ideas. Our ideation convinced BORA to commit to the dishwasher, and we stayed on for the complete industrial design in follow-up projects.
My role
As main project lead and industrial design lead, I was BORA's day-to-day contact through a long development project. I presented the work, aligned the teams and steered much of the decision-making.
Beyond form and detail, I contributed ideas on user experience (UX) and technology: how people operate and load the dishwasher, and how it fits into the kitchen.
